Permanent Flood Protection - terra glass wall system

RAISING THE BANKS OF THE MORITZBACH IN ZWICKAU

RAISING THE BANKS OF THE MORITZBACH IN ZWICKAU.

In October 2015, the official handover of the flood protection system on the Moritzbach in the Pölbitz district of Zwickau took place. Protective walls were strengthened and raised on around 530 metres of the watercourse. In addition, our mobile terra stop logs, size 300 x 50, can be erected in case of imminent flooding.

The height of the terra stop log system is 0.60 metres. This means that there is now protection against flooding, which statistically occurs once every 100 years. A special feature: The supports for the terra stop logs also serve as railing posts with hand and knee runners.
