CAR PARK SUPPORT WALL - CONSTRUCTION OF A CAR PARK
A multi-storey car park was to be built on the thyssenkrupp Quarter site in Essen. As the building ground exhibited up to 10.30 metres deep terrain jumps, a permanent terrain protection was necessary. In consultation with thyssenkrupp Real Estate GmbH, the executing construction company decided on a retaining wall made of anchored LARSSEN steel sheet piles. A total of 720 tonnes of LARSSEN 606 n in lengths of up to 14.30 metres were installed.
