Wide flange beam
HEA, HEB, HEM

The term wide flange beam is used to describe a range of different beam profiles, including HEB (IPB), HEA (IBI), HEM (IPBv) and many more. Many construction sites would not be possible without the use of these beams. These beams can be used as supporting elements in soldier pile wall shoring, as bracing, reinforcement, in the construction of temporary bridges or as foundation elements. In particular, the use of wide flange beams as elements in soldier pile wall shoring, also known as ‘Berlin shoring’ in this example, makes it possible to react flexibly to unexpected challenges on the construction site. The beam profiles are subject to DIN EN 10365 and offer optimal ramming properties with maximum flexibility.
ADVANTAGES
- Flexible shoring element (soldier pile wall)
- Low noise emissions when installed in pre-drilled borings
- Can be shortened on site
- Can be flexibly adapted to the requirements of the construction site.
- Recoverable and thus reduced CO2 emissions
