HIGH STRENGTH, EXCELLENT RAMMING PROPERTIES, HIGH RESISTANCE: HOT-ROLLED SHEET PILE PROFILES.
Due to their outstanding properties, our hot-rolled sheet piles are mainly used in water, transport and civil engineering. Hot-rolled profiles are made from a pre-material that is heated to over 1,200 degrees. The high plasticity of the steel allows for a variety of profiles.

U-PROFILES.

Our U-Profiles have excellent static properties. They are characterised by high driving and quality performance. Due to their optimal reusability, our U-Profiles can be recovered and reused after use. The wide range of profiles allows them to be used in a wide variety of areas – e.g. in harbour engineering, bank protection, road construction or Trench Shoring.

ADVANTAGES

  • Wide range of profiles for a variety of applications
  • Excellent static properties
  • Optimal reusability
  • High driving and quality performance
  • Easy installation of anchor systems and jointed connections / links / attachments, even under water
Z-PROFILES.
Z-PROFILES.

The continuous web in the sheet pile wall and the outside locks are the main features of our Z-profiles. Both factors have a positive effect on the section modulus of the sheet pile wall – and at a relatively low weight. This results in a high level of economic efficiency.

ADVANTAGES

  • The outside LARSSEN interlock results in an extremely favourable ratio between weight and section modulus.
  • The interlock connection is in the zone of the lowest shear forces.
  • The large heights of the profiles result in high stiffness. These limit the deflection and thus allow the selection of higher steel grades.
COMBINED STEEL PILE WALLS.
COMBINED STEEL PILE WALLS.

Our combined steel sheet pile walls comprise both load-bearing and intermediate piles and are used in particular in heavy-duty coastal harbour engineering. Applications in ports include quay walls, moles, dock structures and Ro-Ro installations. The combined walls are also used for locks, weirs, inland ports, landfills and bridge abutments.

ADVANTAGES

  • Modular system, can be combined to form steel-sheet pile walls
  • Optimum adaptation to static and design requirements
  • Good driving properties due to the symmetry of the pile elements

LARSSEN steel piles or dolphins are installations for shipping lanes and harbours.

Depending on their use, the following types can be distinguished:

  • berth dolphins serve to delimit the approach channel
  • mooring dolphins or mooring dolphins are used for mooring ships
  • guide dolphins serve to guide floating installations such as pontoons or floating docks
