PARKING GARAGE RETAINING WALL - CONSTRUCTION OF A PARKING GARAGE

Within the scope of this construction project, a retaining wall made of anchored LARSSEN steel sheet pile sections was provided, as this was required for the up to 10.30 m deep terrain slopes.

A multi-storey parking lot was to be built on the site of the thyssenkrupp Quarter in Essen. As the ground had up to 10.30-meter-deep slopes, permanent ground stabilization was necessary. In coordination with thyssenkrupp Real Estate GmbH, the executing construction company decided in favor of a retaining wall made of anchored LARSSEN steel sheet pile sections. A total of 720 tons of LARSSEN 606 n in lengths of up to 14.30 meters were installed.
